#AlliedJob SummaryProduces high-quality images for interpretation by physicians, meeting the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments. This role requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology.Job Responsibilities* Practice proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel, and patients.* Foster teamwork through effective communication.* Ensure a high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines.* Maintain flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and lengths.* Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care.Required Skills & Experience* Organized, efficient, and multifunctional.* Ability to work independently.* Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication.* Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths, and respond to an on-call pager, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.Preferred Skills & Experience* Experience in ultrasound sonography.Required Education* Graduate of an accredited sonography or radiography program.Required Certifications & Licensure* Registry-eligible candidates must be ARDMS registered in either Vascular Technology (RVT) or RDMS (Abdominal or OB/GYN) within 6 months of employment (RVT preferred first) and both RVT and RDMS within 12 months of employment.* Third certification (Abdominal or OB/GYN) completed within 18 months of employment.* Employees providing breast imaging are required to obtain RDMS (Breast) certification within 24 months of achieved competency.* Employees hired for a role specific to vascular sonography, who are not eligible to apply for Abdomen and OB/GYN certifications, are exempt from the requirement of obtaining these registries.* BLS certified.Required for Travelers by Start Date* RDMS or RVT and BLS certifications.Job Type: Full-timePay: $2,250.00 - $2,525.00 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Day shift* Night shiftApplication Question(s):* Do You have Active ARDMS Certification?* Do you have Active BLS certification?Work Location: In person
