Job Description:
Job Summary Exciting Opportunity for Finance Executive We are a
growing non-profit organization operating throughout the state of
Minnesota. At the Minnesota Autism Center we provide therapeutic
services to children and adolescents who have autism spectrum
disorder. We are currently seeking a Controller who will help
manage and continue to build upon accounting processes. The ideal

responsible for managing the accounting function in support to the
Chief Financial Officer and overseeing the weekly processing of
Minnesota Autism Center---s account payable checks and medical
billing charges. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Accounting
support provided to the CEO including but not limited to: Oversee
the accounting operations of the organization, including control
systems, transaction processing, and policies and procedures
Preparation of well-documented and accurate journal entries Monthly
journal entry processing in Microsoft Dynamic GP accounting system,
including import of external system transactions Preparation of
monthly reporting schedules for management and board distribution
Assist CEO with annual budgeting process including data entry and
schedule preparation Assist CEO with ongoing financial forecast and
strategic projects Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
Coordination and preparation of information required for annual
financial and retirement plan audits for external auditors, as well
as information required for Federal 990 tax return. Review and
reconciliation of bi-weekly payroll reports Provide financial
analysis as needed Tracking of fixed assets and related
depreciation schedules System administrator responsible for
maintenance, security and upgrade coordination of general ledger
and billing software Supervision of accounts payable including but
not limited to: Review invoices for proper coding, documentation,
and approvals Investigate, reconcile, and correct errors or
discrepancies noted during the processing of the vendor invoices
Ensure payments processed in a manner that is attentive to
discounts, due dates and cash flow Compilation of annual 1099 forms
for IRS filing Supervision of revenue cycle manager and billing
staff, responsible for medical billing charges including, but not
limited to Monitoring claim submission reports, denials, and aging
reports for client billing to ensure claims are being processed and
remittances are received timely Monitoring on-going authorization
reports to ensure third party requirements for on-going client
billing are being satisfied Benefits MAC offers competitive

Qualifications Bachelor---s degree in Accounting required Knowledge
of GAAP required Accounting and Accounts Payable experience of 7 or
more years required Microsoft Office skills required Well organized
with attention to detail required Analytical and investigative
skills required Excellent oral and written communication skills
required Ability to handle confidential information, maintain and
display high ethical standards and judgement required Customer
service skills required to deal with a wide variety of individuals
Ability to maintain a positive work environment by fostering good
relationships and collaboration with co-workers, supervisors and
others is required Microsoft Dynamics GP experience strongly
desired
