life's best work.(sm)The Quality & Health Equity Data Analyst plays
a key role in the UnitedHealthcare Individual & Family Plan (IFP)
clinical organization. This position is responsible for analyzing
and monitoring clinical quality data to meet CMS Quality Rating
System (QRS) and state quality reporting requirements with the
objective of maximizing star ratings and improving health outcomes
among the IFP population. This individual works with internal
partners to support QRS / HEDIS and state-based quality reporting
requirements, tracking real-time prospective data to identify
trends and opportunities for improvement. The position will support
IFP's commitment to health equity by combining clinical quality and
demographic data-including self-reported member data on race,
ethnicity, and language - to identify health disparities and assist
in quality improvement with a focus on reducing disparities and
increasing equity. This individual will report to the IFP Director
of Quality Operations & Oversight, who is responsible for providing
national direction on IFP's quality and data strategy.You'll enjoy

you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities
- Continuously analyzes QRS / HEDIS quality data and other
clinical data to identify emerging trends and quality improvement
opportunities for IFP business -
- Develops monthly prospective quality reports and disseminates
to IFP clinical leadership
- Routinely monitors provider care gap closure
- Supports retrospective quality reporting for all IFP markets,
including state-based Exchanges -
- Oversees collection of member demographic data and
stratification of HEDIS measures by race, ethnicity, and language,
to support required health equity activities
- Partners with IFP teams, including Medical Economics, BASIS,
and ABLE, to continuously integrate claims, pharmacy, operations,
and other data sources with QRS / HEDIS quality data to obtain a
more robust understanding of IFP clinical quality outcomes -
- May perform additional national IFP quality duties as

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of data analytics experience
- 1+ years of experience with clinical quality and/or healthcare
claims data sets
- Proficient with tools and software to extract, and analyze
data
- Advanced or higher level of proficiency with Excel and
PowerPoint -
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this

Qualifications:
- 1+ years -of Tableau experience -
- Experience handling and managing large volumes of data
- Experience working within UHC Government Programs or another
managed care entity, ideally supporting activities related to HEDIS
quality data analysis
- Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end HEDIS operations,
including NCQA / HEDIS submission and performance measurement
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, diagnostic, and
analytical skills
- Ability to self-manage and drive disciplined, fact-based
decisions, executing with urgency
- Ability to balance multiple accountabilities and organizational
change
- Exceptional relationship and teaming skills, with proven
ability to collaborate and quickly build and maintain relationships
across diverse functions -

Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is
$66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada
residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors
including but not limited to education, work experience,
