Who we are:
Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (VWTS) is a worldwide leader
in water recovery, treatment and reuse. We design and supply a
range of water systems, from food and beverage applications, to
municipal water, to microelectronics ultrapure water and heavy
industrial wastewater treatment.
The North American Project Operations team partners with several
functions within the Projects Organization on a wide range of core
processes and strategic programs, including Return on Experience
(REX), Customer Feedback, Project Controls, Project Cash Operations
and PO Central Operations.
What you will be doing:
As a part of the North American Project Operations team, the Cash
Operations Leader will report to the Project Operations Leader and
will be responsible for working with Project Management, Finance
and Project Controls, to ensure that projects are executed
seamlessly and within compliance.
As a Cash Operations Leader, you will work with Project Managers
and Finance teams on the past dues and cash governance of our
projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not
limited to, the following:
Lead optimizing our financial cash transactions and systems by
performing reconciliation of payments and customer accounts
Communicate discrepancies to management teams, identify slow-paying
customers, recommend collection candidates, and provide action
status
Strengthen and grow relationships with clients by communicating
with customers regarding past-due accounts
Assist in streamlining the accounts receivable process by
identifying areas for performance improvement
Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting, and
comply with financial requirements
Work on data analysis and reporting requests, as they arise
Who are we looking for?
Minimum requirements:
8 to 10 years of proven experience in Finance and Accounting, ie.
past dues process
Strong data analysis skills with ability to disseminate and
communicate clear actions
Solid understanding of Project execution flow and key
stakeholders
Experience collaborating with customers with proven success
Skill Requirements:
Team player, with the ability to exercise good judgement under
changing conditions and/or under pressure
Persistent problem solver
Excellent time management and detail orientation
Able to partner with internal and external stakeholders and
influence action
Strong communication and presentation skills
Able to work productively with offshore teams
Able to challenge and navigate difficult conversations with key
stakeholders (ie. customers, Project Managers, Finance)
Able to understand project contracts, ie. payment terms.
Able to perform data analysis and arrange data in meaningful ways
(ie. billing, ARPD)
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Tableau and SAP
