Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A Special Education Teacher is needed for a full-time
contract position in Richfield, MN, working from ASAP through June
5. This role involves supporting K-6 students in a relatively small
school of approximately 180 students in self-contained,
multi-disability classrooms. With a caseload of 7-8 students, the
position focuses primarily on Setting 2 and 3 students, addressing
the needs of those with cognitive disabilities, learning
disabilities, or autism. Key Responsibilities: Develop and
implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in
self-contained classrooms. Provide direct instruction and support
for students in Settings 2 and 3. Collaborate with school staff to
create a positive, inclusive learning environment. Monitor student
progress and adjust teaching methods to meet diverse learning
needs. Maintain detailed records of student performance and
communication with families. Ensure a calm and supportive classroom
atmosphere with limited behavior challenges. Qualifications: Valid
Special Education teaching certification. Experience working with
students who have cognitive disabilities, learning disabilities, or
autism. Ability to manage a small caseload effectively within
self-contained classrooms. Strong communication and collaboration
skills. Commitment to fostering student growth and independence.
Familiarity with Setting 2 and 3 special education environments
preferred. Location:Richfield, Minnesota Schedule:37.5 hours per
week Contract Duration: ASAP through June 5 Benefits: Full
