    At this time we are not sponsoring any work visas.Requirements:Audio Visual Field Engineer are responsible for completing the installation of AV and multimedia systems. Through the use of technical tools and systems, an Audio Visual Field Engineer will test and tune a room while troubleshooting complex, custom AV systems, while upholding New Era Technology's Standards.
    Audio Visual Field Engineer job duties:
    • Support install team in the installation of systems as needed
    • Crimp, solder, wire pull, label, terminate, and other technical tasks associated with AV systems
    • Fabricate AV systems in the field and inhouse as needed
    • Installing and labeling equipment into racks
    • Dressing cables in racks, under tables, in credenzas, in lecterns/podiums etc.
    • Labeling and Terminating cables both in and out of racks
    • Documentation of equipment (i.e. Serial Numbers, MAC addresses, IP Addresses, etc.)
    • Inventory control and Chain of Custody
    • Read and markup project documents
    • Load, test, and troubleshoot control systems programming
    • Write, load, and tweak DSP files
    • Write, load, and test basic configurable systems
    • Troubleshoot and repair newly installed and existing custom AV systems
    • Train clients on the use of AV Systems
    • Use hand and power tools.
    • Safe use of ladders, scaffolding, and lifts
    • Lift heavy and bulky equipment
    • Giving excellent customer service through a professional attitudeAudio Visual Field Engineer skills:
      • Strong client and service-focused mindset, demonstrate excellent listening skills and the ability to understand customer issues.
      • Understanding of how audiovisual systems function, and how to diagnose and resolve problems within those systems
      • An ability to use discretion and good judgment regard to sensitive or confidential information
      • Proficient with computers, including audiovisual applications (AMX, Crestron, Extron, QSC, Poly, etc.)
      • Must have a clean driving record
      • Ability to work flexible hours with regular domestic and periodic international travel
      • Must have excellent organizational skills
      • Must have proven multitasking skills and can work under extreme pressures
      • Must have solid soldering skills
      • Have a valid US PassportAudio Visual Field Engineer Required Experience & Education
        • Avixa CTS certification and a minimum of one year of AV experience is required with proven proficient skills required for AV Field Technician level from New Era Technology
          EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: Business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, required work hours may vary depending on business needs. Overtime is possible. The ability to work flexible hours is required.
          TRAVEL: 50% domestic overnight travel with occasional international travel required.
