Job Summary: The Manufacturing Liaison Engineer will be part of the Engineering Manufacturing Liaison (EML) program. You will work through a range of engineering and manufacturing activities as part of a one-year program. Reporting to the Engineering Operations Leader, you begin your role with office-based engineering, learning the various technologies we deploy and understanding how a complex engineering organization runs. Soon you will start visiting the Production floor where acting as a Liaison Engineer, you participate in various activities related to production and assembly of the project related equipment. You will also be carrying out some Project Engineering office work, participating in design activities for projects. As the EML program concludes, you bring back hands-on and practical knowledge of engineering and equipment to the Project Engineering Team and this experience to the design of your projects.



Duties & Responsibilities

• 
  
• Acts as the primary contact between project and manufacturing teams and lead day-to-day interaction during production.
  
• Facilitates and expedites issue resolution during the Production Phase of the projects by regularly and proactively engaging with the Production teams.
  
• Helps achieve assembly completion on time and with quality by issue tracking, resolution and communication between the design and manufacturing teams.
  
• Maintains the Issues Tracker and expedites issue resolution while identifying recurring items and helps identify REX/Lessons Learned to the project and production teams
  
• Works in a highly technical role, generating, checking, or approving technical drawings, datasheets, and design specifications.
  
• Supports client deliverables, vendor selection and equipment fabrication, project schedule and documents working with the project team.

  • Acts as the technical customer contact, participating in project status updates, design reviews, installation support and commissioning supervision. Interacting and working with Production Floor staff daily.
    
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.

      Education & Experience
      
      
      • 
        
      • Bachelor's degree in an accredited Engineering field - Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or other.
        
      • No prior engineering work experience required for consideration.
        
      • Experience with industrial processes and system engineering - direct experience in water treatment, oil & gas, chemical or power preferred but not required
