Description:Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner, the global leader of automation systems and solutions, is currently offering an opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer in our fast paced, customer oriented Infrastructure team.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include participating with our customers in:

• Collaborate with Novaspect's control system engineering and project teams in the development, delivery, on-going maintenance, and optimization of Novaspect's state of the art process control solutions for its industrial customers
• Set up and install electronic systems in industrial settings to control industrial processes
• Ensure that valuable information and data flow through electronics and measurement devices according to communication protocols to provide feedback to the system as expected
• Plan, develop, and implement modifications to software and communication protocols in industrial systems to meet Novaspect's customer's needs
• Execute Distributed Control System Computer and Network commissioning and startup
• Provide improvements and modifications to Distributed Control Systems to meet changing customer needs
• Provide technical support or instruction to staff or customers regarding electronics equipment standards
• Install and troubleshoot Microsoft operating systems, Symantec, McAfee, Acronis and wireless network systems
• Analyze system requirements and troubleshoot issues related to computers in the system
• Set up Microsoft Active Directories, DNS, Terminal Services, and Group Policy according to customer specifications and needs within an industrial control system
• Install and troubleshoot TCP/IP communication networks for industrial process control
• Perform Power and Grounding Audits on networks and systems in an industrial setting Requirements:Education and/or Experience:
  • Required: Computer Systems, Information Technology, Networking, Electronics, Communication, Chemical, Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering B.S. Degree Program
  • 2 5 years of PLC or DCS experience
  • 2 5 years of experience with windows operating systems preferred
  • Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2008, Server 2012, Server 2016
  • Experience with virtualization technology (Hyper-V or VMware)
  • Experience with cyber security fundamentalsAdditional Requirements:
    • Travel to customer facilities (30 40% overnight travel)
    • Meet Infrastructure team commitments and deadlines
    • Work independently and as part of a customer project team
    • Provide excellent oral and written communications
    • Participate in on-going learning (latest technologies)Physical Requirements:
      • Ability to lift up to 30lbs (i.e. Workstation and Server Class Computers)
      • Ability to work extended hours on a computer
