Job Description:
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the
industrial sector, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team.
As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the manufacturing
department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate
will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a
commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the
organization. Job Title: CNC Machinist Location: Elk River, MN Pay
Range: $25.00 - $30.00/hour Position Type: 1-Year Contract with
great potential for conversion to permanent/extension Shift: Monday
- Friday; 7:00AM - 3:00PM What's the Job? Operate and adjust a
variety of CNC machine tools to perform machining operations on
multiple materials. Work to close tolerances and finish
specifications using skill, knowledge of machining techniques, and
familiarity with CNC operating procedures. Set up manual and CNC
machines including vertical mills, grinders, and deburring tools
with minimal supervision. Edit and communicate programs and
adjustments to management and support personnel. Perform quality
inspections and document process changes to ensure product
standards are met. What's Needed? Post-high school training in
machining, blueprint reading, basic CNC operation, and shop math,
or one year of machining experience in a production machine shop.
Demonstrated ability in shop math and manual machining skills.
Ability to lift, carry, or maneuver up to 40 pounds. Effective
verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work
cooperatively in a team environment and use computers and reference
