Job Summary The Human Resources Manager is responsible for ensuring that organizational talent is prepared to deliver exceptional performance through partnership with the business leaders and by building strong organizational capabilities and culture. This individual will utilize functional/technical expertise to develop, implement, manage and improve strategies related to organizational effectiveness, talent management, employee engagement, retention, performance management and compensation. The purpose of this role is threefold: Serve as HR Business Partner to key functions including a C-suite level leader and their team at the corporate office, deliver HR programs related to employee lifecycle, talent and performance management, employee development and onboarding, and execute on the company strategy and priorities associated with our strategic plan. This individual works closely with the other HR functional areas supporting solution design and providing insight and feedback to the COEs and key partners. This position will be assigned to various processes and functional areas as the business demands. Each member of the team will serve as back up for the other functions including employee relations, performance management, communications, etc. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources. Responsibilities Operate as a strategic advisor focused on talent management (50%): -Responsible for partnering with Executive Committee (EC) member and senior leaders on ensuring we have the right talent in the right roles at the right time. -Responsible for performance management including but not limited to coaching and upskilling of leaders, corrective action guidance across the business function to ensure high performing teams -Strategize with the business leader(s) to translate business objectives into talent implications -Leverage HR data to drive improvements in attraction, engagement and retention -Facilitate Talent Review sessions in accordance with the strategic plan Organizational Design (30%) -Lead, influence, support and facilitate organizational change and communication -Liaise with internal partners on communication plan and execution -Consult with the business leader(s) by understanding how to align and integrate people with business needs through organization design and talent development -Determine and plan workforce needs to identify and mobilize the right talent to address business needs -Onboarding of C-Suite level leader HR as a business enabler (20%) -Lead delivery and application of HR cyclical process including but not limited to; talent routines, objective setting, quarterly reviews, workforce planning -Advise, coach and work through employee relations issues -Serve as a culture ambassador Requirements -Bachelor's Degree -5-7 years of business experience -4+ years of HR experience -Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate with all levels in the organization -Ability to consult, guide and advise managers -Effective problem-solving skills and decision making -Experience leading cross-functional HR generalist and partner teams -Background in supporting new organizational capabilities and or leadership teams -Manages/leads the integration of company-wide programs and initiatives with little direction -Exposure and proven track record to the concepts of consulting, conflict management and interpersonal and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to earn credibility across leadership -Demonstrated skills and abilities in the following areas: employee relations, talent acquisition, organizational strategy and training and development.
