the strategic direction for Medicare marketing including structure,
staffing, capabilities and investments as well as strong
coordination with internal business segments and external partners.
As the leader of the marketing organization, the CMO is responsible
for the quality and timely delivery of the strategic and creative
work product for more than 15M Individual Medicare Advantage, Group
Retiree, Med Supp, DSNP, Part D and Individual and Family Plans.
The overarching goal is to support revenue growth through
acquisition of new insurance plan members, and the onboarding and
engagement of members, delivering on cost control through health
engagement and better use of the health system as well as improved
member satisfaction as measured through NPS. The CMO also leads
development team protocols, programs and processes, digital and
analog marketing activities, market research, advertising,
promotion, product positioning, market-level program management,
distribution support and agency management.You'll enjoy the

take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and lead overall Medicare portfolio marketing vision as
it pertains to developing optimal strategies and programs that
facilitate consumer access, improve health outcomes and meet or
exceed affordability targets
- Generate demand through audience-first marketing, testing and
innovation advancement and national-to-local enablement
- Manage a media budget that is expected to exceed $300M annually
including an in-house digital media organization
- Elevate the brand in the enhancement of the value proposition,
content strategy and overall brand experience
- Collaborate with internal business partners (e.g., Product,
Digital, Clinical, Quality, Operations, Communications, Optum) on
marketing strategy for all product & service offerings through the
Medicare businesses
- Assist internal business partners with value proposition
definition, strategy development, creative development, execution
and measurement of effective means to attract, onboard and engage
business and members
- Define and manage metrics designed to determine effectiveness
of marketing initiatives
- Lead a marketing function of more than 250 people that is
well-equipped to manage multiple and diverse requests through
effective processes, aligned business partnerships and highly
engaged and capable talent
- Develop and manage market strategy for third party strategic
partnerships that align to and enhance national positionYou'll be

- Bachelor's degree in marketing
- 20+ years progressive marketing leadership experience within
corporate and agency environments
- Demonstrated knowledge of health care industry (preferred), and
current/emerging trends, particularly as they relate to Medicare
(e.g., regulations, competitors, demographics)
- Strategic business leader and partner, capable of integrating
broad, divergent concepts into creative, impactful marketing
initiatives and programs
- Industry thought leader in marketing concepts, brand
management, distribution strategy, campaign management, consumer
trends, emerging technology and innovation
- Fully capable of working collaboratively at the highest levels
throughout the Enterprise as well as external executive business
partners and potential customers
- Direct to consumer marketing experience with multi-channel
sales approach
- Experience in planning, executing and measuring campaigns in a
complicated, matrixed organization
- Proven track record of effectively directing and supervising
internal teams, outside agencies and consultants
- Execution focused, proven results in leading complex,
large-scale initiatives from conception to completion within
scheduled timeframesPreferred Qualifications:
- MBA -or other advanced degree
- Multi-functional business experience in sales, operations and

-range for Colorado/Connecticut/Nevada residents is -$325,000 -to
$450,000. -Pay is based on several factors including but not
limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In
