Make yourself at home with us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) -The Associate Director, Employer Brand & Content is a key leadership position within the UnitedHealth Group Talent Office. - This role owns our overall Talent Brand & Go-to-Market Strategy for the enterprise. -This leader will leverage consumer marketing best practices to define next-level employer branding strategies that create and maintain a highly impactful experience reflective of the Enterprise Business and Employer brands. This role will be responsible for deepening and aligning partnerships with across the lines of business to advance the employer brand in partnership with our business brands. The position reports to the UnitedHealth Group VP of Talent Marketing and serves the enterprise across all businesses and regions. -You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities: -

Drives strategic alignment of employer brand with business brand platformsEnsures differentiation as an employer in the marketplace and builds talent preference as an employer of choicePartners with business marketing and communication teams to ensure alignment of content and messaging and collaboration across the teamsUnderstands business-level needs, ensuring the team tailors to the unique needs of particular talent groups, personas and geographiesUnderstands & knows the UnitedHealth Group business model, as well as the businesses that comprise it and the role they play in the larger model. - Understands the unique needs of the business and the implications for talent with the nuance by geography in the talent marketing & employer branding eco-systemPartners closely with Talent Acquisition leaders across newly integrated businesses to ensure transition to the enterprise talent brandEnsures effective research and use of personas, journey mapping and moments that matter for talent experiences across the enterpriseDrives the creation, planning, and execution of the always-on talent brand campaign and content marketing approach Continually develops and strengthens talent brand guidelines and ensure the Talent Marketing team can appropriately consult on our EVP Uses data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of talent brand perception and engagement Analyzes and assess consumer, employer, and market trends, applying key insights to new and existing talent marketing strategies and processesEnsures the pull through of the EVP to the employee experienceCreates and maintains a scalable model of creative resource planning -to effectively leverage multiple agencies and internal creative resources, including execution of a self-service modelManages a brand and creative team, providing coaching and support for execution of prioritiesOversees agency resources in the area of brand, content and creative -You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: -
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of demonstrated success building/leading marketing teams and delivering value through driving exceptional digital and mobile experiences aligned to business outcomes
  • 7+ years proven thought-leadership and a record of results in employment branding, talent marketing, or employee advocacy
  • Experience with brand research, insights and activation
  • Experience with content and engagement planning -
  • Experience demonstrating persuasive skills and diplomacy to influence outcomes without hierarchical authority
  • Experience demonstrating a passion for innovation, quality, talent experience and efficiency -
  • Proven writing/editing skills across multiple channels and audiences -Preferred Qualifications:
