The Associate Director Actuarial Services, Pricing leads and
manages teams with responsibility for coaching actuaries and
developing student actuaries. This position will support the
Individual medical product line. They will work with the health
plans to develop product strategy and pricing for the ACA
on-exchange individual products. The Associate Director Actuarial
Services, Pricing is a subject matter expert and trusted advisor
for health plan leadership in ensuring that program rates are
competitive, adequate and actuarially sound.

Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and/or coordinate analytical efforts to support the rate
setting process including competitive analysis, network analysis,
risk adjustment, trend, actuarial benefit value analysis, etc.
Determine the implications of these items on strategy, premiums,
and various product proposals
Developing actuarial models
Preparing experience analyses
Preparing regulatory filings
Assisting in the development of financial forecasts and
projections

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Economics or related
field
ASA or FSA designation
5+ years of actuarial experience
Prior actuarial experience in health care, specifically with
experience in developing program rates and pricing
methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing or supervising others
Proficiency with SAS and/or SQL

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range
for Colorado/Connecticut/Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to
education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to
