Join us and start doing **your life's best work.(sm)**The Director of Operations will be accountable for leading and supporting the benefit configuration, provider data and eligibility operations teams with process improvements, staff development, driving performance results, and assumes responsibility for critical projects and initiatives.You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.**Primary Responsibilities:**+ Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance and direction through multiple layers of management and staff+ End to end operational responsibility functional areas with a critical focus on quality+ Develops and executes strategies that span the business unit and multiple market sites+ Responsible for product, service or process decisions most likely to impact multiple functions and/or customer accounts (internal/external)+ Utilize and improve the existing tools to measure performance and ensure consistent achievement of business objectives+ Consistently demonstrates ability to succeed in a continuously changing and challenging environment+ Develop innovative operational solutions and implement successfully to deliver results+ Develop a culture of support, collaboration and employee focus to improve employee engagement results+ Communicate and collaborate within matrix environment, develops partnerships with key business partners, including, but not limited to:+ Claims Operations, Call Centers, IT, Project Management, Market leads+ Works with other operational teams and business partners to resolve operational issues+ Identifies issues that impact quality or productivity and works with others to implement improvements and sustainable results+ Lead teams in cross functional projects and achieve timely and accurate deliverables+ Drive development of business plan and strategy, providing insight and recommendations while ensuring alignment to business goals and priorities+ Participates in strategic planning and assists in developing specific plans as needed+ Track progress against plan, identifies any deviations and suggests recommendations to remediate+ Develop and facilitate performance report outs with internal business partners and Sr. Leaders - ensuring materials represent the key initiatives and the overall priorities of the businessYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.**Required Qualifications:**+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience+ 5+ years of Operational Management experience in healthcare+ 3+ years in an Operations Director role across multiple functional areas+ 5+ years in Medicare, Commercial and/or Medicaid health insurance field+ 3+ years of workforce mgmt. and/or capacity planning+ Intermediate level proficiency with PowerPoint & Excel+ Solid business and financial acumen+ Ability to prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and reports+ Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $113,500 to $218,100.
