And that's where you come in. -As a Senior Capability Program Manager, you'll strategically and tactically own, lead and manage the operational and technical development of business/systems capabilities and processes to achieve targeted performance goals, contractual or regulatory requirements are met, as well as attain/maximize technology return on investment. -Your role requires alignment to business and/or product strategy, effective design and development, and ongoing management of capability portfolio across the full lifecycle to ensure business-specific or cross-enterprise impact. You will be accountable for delivering sustainable, financially sound solutions that solve a specific problem and enable successful business/systems capability delivery, maintenance and business performance outcomes. -Doing so effectively will positively impact millions of lives and help heal the health care system.   • Plan and drive vision, design, project plans, development, execution, implementation and ongoing support of one or more large-scale business/technology capability investments. -Owns the capability holistically; manages with data and collaborative insight, anticipates what is happening within the business environment to define capability scope and improvements and associated compelling business case, business value statement, and customer story
  • Drives engagement with technology or operations on requirements and approach for desired business outcome. Program manage (direct and indirect staff) cross-segment business/systems capabilities and processes that require problem solving, relationship building, influencing and analyzing. Able to work independently managing a capability across its lifecycle, broadly applying prioritization framework to ensure efficient, accurate and timely implementation and day-to-day administration
  • Develop and execute cross-enterprise projects plans and strategies to enable business/systems capabilities and processes to achieve defined cost/benefit, business value, and service targets; Uses enterprise-wide thinking and business knowledge to solve problems; challenges current thinking. Clearly articulates vision and capability roadmap(s); Leverages credibility--offering insights, guiding discussions, challenging the status quo and providing alternative solutions; Relates tasks/activities to overall capability vision and strategy
  • Works with matrix partners across businesses and functional groups to translate required capabilities into concrete operational processes and measurement plans; -Aligns to business strategies -and translates into requirements for engineering teams; Validates requirements with businesses and engages with target users to test/confirm desired outcome
  • Creates business case for capability(ies) managed within role. Able to translate value across and within each business to leadership and stakeholders through written and verbal communication. -Translates value of capability into capital requests and business planning and implementation framework
  • Understands and can effectively discuss, document and present the application and business/systems implications of your business/ systems capabilities to stakeholders and leadership in support of planning, project and/or business reviews and reporting, funding decisions, and to assure timely and effective capability lifecycle and change management process. Accurately translates technical terms, challenges, opportunities and concepts to stakeholders. Leverages insights to adjust timelines and resource allocation
  • Define future capability direction that supports business strategy and new opportunities. -Makes recommendations and/or decisions on whether to maintain, invest, scale, or de-invest. Influence innovation across teams to ensure aligned, cohesive progress across multiple areas including technology, business/service -and care delivery operations, payer relationships, and third parties
  • Takes personal accountability for meeting high performance standards and agreed upon deliverables, taking responsibility for outcomes of decisions and actions; Facilitates decision-making process across teams; Seeks input from others to identify and analyze options, selecting a course of action based on best fit with desired outcomesIf you'd enjoy the challenge of owning a product from idea to implementation, this is an ideal opportunity for you.     • Bachelor's degree
    • 5+ years leading or project managing large business/technology initiatives, prioritization and development, personnel, and processes in health insurance industry, particularly in a payer-related capacity
    • 5+ years of experience working with Claims/transactional-related platform (Facets or comparable preferable) applications management/support functions
    • 5+ years of experience with SDLC and/or Agile methodologies
    • Proficient with most common business software - -MS Office products, Smartsheet, SharePoint

      • Excellent organizational and influencing skills to manage diverse views and personalities to achieve consensus and effective delivery and SME support

The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900.
