- Participate with management, brokers, and insurers in
negotiating property, casualty, and various financial lines
insurance coverages, cost-effectively
- Provide insurance coverage review to ensure policy language
aligns with current exposures/risk
- Oversee selected claims and insurer reporting as required by
insurance policies
- Collaborate with internal business operations and team members
to evaluate and maintain accurate and detailed exposure, data, and
other relevant information
- Provide contractual risk transfer guidance to businesses on
customer, vendor and other third-party risks
- Conduct and/or support due diligence analysis for potential
acquisitions-review exposures, loss experience, insurance program
structure, as well as other material information, and report upon
findings
- Enterprise Risk Financing & Insurance is responsible for
collaborating with internal operations and external vendors to
minimize UnitedHealth Group's risk through strategic risk financing
and insurance programs
- This position will be responsible for participation in the
insurance placements, documentation, coverage and contract
questions, and selected claim reporting activitiesThe ideal
candidate for this position will be in a hybrid work model. - This
will include working in the office on most Tuesday, Wednesday, and
Thursday workdays. - The position is able to work from home on
Monday and Friday workdays.You'll be rewarded and recognized for

in.Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of commercial insurance or corporate insurance risk
management experience in negotiating and/or managing complex
commercial insurance programs
- Broad knowledge of corporate insurance coverages and policy
forms, including contract and insurance policy language
negotiation
- MS Office, including Excel skills at the intermediate to
advanced level
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this

- Industry designation such as ARM or CPCU
