Director Global Sustainability Consulting and ServicesUS - REMOTThe
Director Global Sustainability Consulting and Services is
responsible for setting and implementing the global consulting and
services strategy including product and service development, manage
staff to generate sales and deliver the service, and consults with
senior management on setting and achievement of annual revenue
goals.Primary ResponsibilitiesStrategy Development
- Work with the broader global sustainability management team to
develop a Global Sustainability Consulting and Services strategy
across markets, regions and segments that will meet growth and
revenue goals.
- Identifies and prioritizes market segments and geographies that
have the greatest growth and revenue potential.
- Develops and maintains relationships with the broader
Sustainability consulting industry that enable us to leverage
growth potential through partnerships and other cooperative
alliances.
- Identify and help to evaluate industry acquisition targets that
support or are complementary to the Consulting strategy and have
the potential to expand geographic reach and accelerate growth and
revenue generation.Product & Service Development
- Refine and maintain existing consulting and service offerings
to ensure they are up-to-date and competitive in the market.
- Develop new products and services to take advantage of new
business models or opportunities created by changes in regulatory,
incentive or market/demand structures
- Diversify strategies across different revenue models to
maximize revenue potential. Potential structures could include
success-based, brokerage, revenue sharing, and
partnerships/finder's fees.
- Maintain knowledge of the carbon consulting markets, growth of
new and emerging markets to identify new product and service
opportunities.Financial
- Work with Sustainability management to define annual revenue
goals and interim quarterly targets.
- Monitor and report on performance with respect to annual
revenue goalsCommercial
- Understand the full scope of sustainability and WFS products
and services to effectively leverage the WFS client base and
cross-segment opportunities
- Plan and execute training across all segments: Land, Aviation
and Marine to build pipeline and grow revenue
- Grow customer and prospect awareness of products and services,
grow perception of World Kinect as though leaders through delivery
of customer-facing webinars and training, earned media,
participation and speaking at conferences and industry
events.Management
- Effectively manage a team of sustainability consulting
professionals to sell and deliver consulting products and
services
- Work across the global sustainability organization to help
build understanding across geographies and product and service
categories
- Use WFS internal capabilities (e.g., HR, IT, analytical
resources) to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of team
operations
- Leverage outside resources (software, subscriptions) to improve
team efficiency and scale capabilities.Additional
ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent must be able to communicate
effectively, build relationships and work closely with internal and
external stakeholders including clients, third-party vendors, and
peers across the World Kinect Energy Services global team. Must be
comfortable and proficient in presenting and explaining consulting
products and services to senior management.Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree within business, environment, political
science, or economics
- Minimum of eight years of Consulting/advisory experience
- Strong persuasion skills and ability to gain buy-in to a common
vision.
- Strong business partnering and proven ability to communicate,
influence and build trust across multiple stakeholder groups in
matrix organization
- Experience in identifying customer needs and developing
solutions
- Strong people and project management skills, ability to design
and implement efficient team and solutions to deliver
- General business and financial acumen
- Comfortable working in a virtual environment across globally
dispersed teams
- Ability and willingness to travel nationally and at times
internationallyPreferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or MBA or equivalent relevant industry
experience
- Business acumen and instinct with strong analytical and
quantitative skills
