best work.(sm) The Senior Director will serve as a critical
executive leader who will create and move our DEI recruiting
strategy forward, in partnership with our Talent Acquisition
organizations across the enterprise and our Global DEI office. This
is your opportunity to be at the center of helping our family of

individual will report to the Vice President, Talent Marketing and
DEI Talent Acquisition, and will provide vision, leadership and
team management to find innovative solutions and execute efficient
and effective talent scouting and sourcing strategies for critical
talent pools across the enterprise. This role will provide strategy
and leadership in developing a diverse workforce globally and
strengthen the foundation and framework of proactive internal and
external diversity sourcing, talent pipelining, and relationship
management processes. You'll be leading a collaborative team where
everyone is encouraged to bring their ideas, beliefs, backgrounds,
talents, capabilities, and lifestyles to work. You'll enjoy the

Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of highly proficient and experienced DEI Talent
Scouts and Sourcers and oversee the development and implementation
of a strategic DEI talent scouting plan that supports the needs of
the business, including creating and executing an optimal
go-to-market pipelining strategy to identify and attract diverse
talent
- Define and deliver strategic direction for the DEI Talent
Acquisition function to create a more inclusive and diverse
workplace, a Board driven initiative, across the enterprise.
- Lead efforts to develop effective internal and external diverse
talent benches and pipelines for succession plans to support top
level leaders, their leadership teams, and difficult-to-fill roles
via these core accountabilities to meet business demand and future
growth
- Provide professional level of internal and external talent
mappings, competitive intelligence, and business insights for
internal business benchmarking and to be utilized as a starting
point for talent pipeline relationship management activities up to
the Senior Executive level to support business growth across the
enterprise.
- Work in tight alignment and ensure close strategic
collaboration with the Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Office, People Team, Talent Management, Executive Recruitment, and
Talent Acquisition to ensure an aligned approach to the DEI talent
scouting strategy, priorities, and objectives
- Partner with DEI teams to activate Employee Resource Groups and
cultivate targeted organizational partnerships to further diverse
talent pipelines
- Consult with and advise internal company executives on key DEI
and industry talent trends and best practices
- Develop an understanding of key talent pools critical to
UnitedHealth Group and its family of companies and create diversity
recruiting processes and best practices to support the
business
- Drive implementation plans for full integration of DEI
programming into existing talent practices - ability to build and
implement enterprise wide and scalable processes connecting DEI
talent programs and solutions
- Generate a business plan for new DEI talent programs, vendors,
sourcing tools, and/or investments based on information gathered,
work being completed and feedback from key stakeholders.
- Track milestones and timelines across projects and initiatives,
analyzing and communicating project risks and issues as necessary,
making adjustments to project plans, timelines or resources to
ensure successful project delivery
- Engages with an extensive array of people, teams and partners
to make connections and align around desired outcomes. Influences
for when alignment of actions is necessary and provides support
when individual teamwork is appropriate You'll be rewarded and

you may be interested in. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, in a corporate
and/or agency environment
- 5+ years of experience leading and managing a Talent
Acquisition team
- Experience implementing cross-functional and complex programs
across multiple business lines and talent connected solutions,
capturing and synthesizing data, and operationalizing strategic
plans
- Experience with talent sourcing and building talent pipelines
for a wide range of positions, from individual contributor to
Director, VP, and SVP levels; experience leading a team of Talent
Acquisition professionals who source and recruit diverse
talent
- Proficiency with using the latest sourcing tools/platforms and
an ATS and/or CRM to manage pipelines within a candidate
database
- Experience understanding and engaging talent up to experienced
executive levels and the TA model required to facilitate external
sourcing and internal mobility and advancement Preferred
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing diversity
talent acquisition strategies
- Experience as an external headhunter in an agency
- Experience leveraging competitive and market intelligence for
sourcing and recruitment
- Experience in partnering with Employee Resource Groups to
attract talent in key geographies and disciplines
- Demonstrated strengths in leading change, developing others,
uncertainty and ambiguity, leveraging innovations, growth mindset
and systems thinking
- Experience scaling and executing Talent Acquisition programs
nationally and/or globally
- Experience working within matrix teams across different time
zones and geographies
- Experienced in understanding, influencing, and driving a talent
strategy forward through analyzing data, establishing metrics,
managing results, and reporting
- Experience influencing and partnering with senior leadership,
business leaders, DEI leaders, and/or People Team (Human Capital)
teams to identify and create connections and deliver programs,
processes, and solutions
- Demonstrated sourcing and talent mapping skills using various
Boolean strategies
- Demonstrated experience being consultative and collaborative
including the ability to effectively resolve conflict, negotiate,
influence change, and drive adoption with People Team (Human

The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New
York City, or Washington residents is $142,300 to $273,200. Pay is
based on several factors including but not limited to education,
work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary,
