best work.(sm) As the Associate Director of Business Performance,
Employer & Individual Markets, you will support senior leadership
to effectively manage and grow our business. This role will work
with E&I leaders to establish, manage, and track our top
business priorities and optimize resource allocation across a
large, diversified business with hundreds of competing initiatives.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere
within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage an effective system and
processes for defining and managing top business priorities and
tracking performance
- Build and/or implement systems, reports, and dashboards to
support the above
- Work with leadership to optimize the alignment of SG&A and
capital resources to top priorities, and lead resource allocation
reviews
- Collaborate with Finance, People Team, and other partners to
review key performance metrics, identify gaps and recommend changes
where needed
- Analyze data and provide intelligence to support
decision-making and facilitate trade-off discussions across the
business, as needed
- Provide regular status updates, facilitate business management
reviews, document and communicate key outcomes, and drive action

Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university
- 5+ years of relevant business experience including managing
large-scale programs with competing priorities
- Experience building and implementing business management
systems
- Demonstrated proficiency creating SharePoint or Teams
sites
- Solid proficiency using Excel and PowerPoint for the analysis
and presentation of complex data Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant work experience in operations, strategy, management
consulting, program management or general management in a health
care related field
- Experience managing capital programs
- Solid process improvement and program management
experience
- Ability to effectively deliver results in a dynamic, matrixed
environment with a high degree of organizational change, growth,
and ambiguity
- Self-starter with ability to deliver results with limited
oversight
- Superior conceptual, analytical, and financial modeling
skills
- Solid history of quickly gaining credibility, partnering with
business leaders, and presenting to executive audience Careers at

City Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado,
Connecticut, Nevada, Washington or New York City residents is
$101,200 to $184,000. Pay is based on several factors including but
not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In
addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such
