Medicare plan can be complicated and hard to navigate, making what
is an already challenging experience for the consumer that much
harder and stressful. The Medicare and Retirement (M&R) Digital
Acquisition Operations and Portfolio Management Leader will support
the M&R digital acquisition team through portfolio, program,
project management and client management. This role will govern all
processes and procedures for the team to ensure consistency,
stability, and availability the acquisition products and
experiences. This role will also be responsible for content
management and publishing operations and Search Engine Optimization
(SEO) to ensure a simple and trusted consumer digital shopping and
enrollment experience The M&R Digital Acquisition Operations
and Portfolio Management leader will leverage portfolio, program
and client management best practices to ensure the digital
acquisition team is able to define and execute an improved consumer
shop and enroll experience. This role involves partnering with
cross-functional teams throughout the process of problem
identification, solution development, implementation, and
measurement. The individual in this role will be expected to lead
the overall operations of the team to drive improved execution,
stability, efficiency, and quality. This leader will leverage lean
portfolio management, agile methodologies, and process management
to ensure the Digital acquisition team can provide an industry
leading Medicare shopping and enrollment experiences at speed and
scale. The right candidate thrives in a customer-focused, process
driven, fast-paced environment where people are collaborative and
working together to achieve business goals and objectives. While
intensely focused on digital, the charter of this role will be to
partner with the broader sales leadership team (telesales and agent
/ external distribution) to create an omni-channel experiences for
our consumers. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from
anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Establish long term strategic direction for digital acquisition
operations and portfolio management team through establishing
management routines, gearing ratios, service levels and key
processes and procedures
- Develop and execute consistent release strategies and workflow
models in partnership with the product management and technical
teams
- Provide consultation on functionality of website components and
set expectations with stakeholders regarding the timing of when
business requests will be executed
- Monitor existing processes and make recommendations to improve
current processes that improve the digital acquisition team's
ability to gain efficiencies and deliver
- Direct the operations of the Content Management System (CMS)
team to include SLAs, workflows, and governance for all website
properties
- Lead Search Engine Marketing (SEO) and support personalization
and marketing automation programs in partnership with other
business functions and/or third-party vendors
- Ensure monthly results and roadmap are in a constant state of
readiness to share with key stakeholders, business partners, and
digital and enterprise leaders
- Serve as epic owner for work when needed, particularly early in
the funnel to define the epic hypothesis statement and lean
business case in partnership with business partners, digital
product owners and the finance team
- Engage with business partners on a regular cadence to ensure
the digital acquisition portfolio is accurately reflecting current
business priorities
- Partner with product management and technical teams to
flawlessly roll out new capabilities and MVPs and then work to
scale
- Build collaborative relationship with the extended M&R
business partners including Marketing, Operations, Design, Product,
IT and the extended Sales team You'll be rewarded and recognized

interested in. Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years leading / managing digital operations, process
improvement / process management or product management teams
- Experience working in large matrixed organizations
- Experience leading digital marketing activities: SEO,
personalization, and marketing automation
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently under
aggressive timelines
- Experience demonstrating flexibility and willingness to
independently navigate areas of unfamiliarity
- Experience turning complicated inputs into a clear,
communicable vision that delivers user/member and clear business
value
- Experience absorbing and making sense of large amounts of data,
information and perspectives to direct decision making Preferred
Qualifications:
- Graduate degree; MBA or Masters
- Six sigma - Green or Black Belt quality training
- Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other
content management systems (CMS)
- Experience working remote working and leading remote /
geographically dispersed teams
- Healthcare industry experience
- Development and implementation experience with lean portfolio
management, Less and / or SAFe Agile frameworks
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web technologies
- Familiarity with web UX and UI best practices
- Design Thinking (IDEO, d.School Double Diamond, etc.,)
- Ability to develop sound business cases to obtaining
funding
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with
ability to communicate and inspire at all levels, including
addressing opportunities, risks, and strategic positioningwith
business and technology leaders

City Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado,
Connecticut, Nevada, Washington or New York City residents is
$181,600 to $345,500. Pay is based on several factors including but
not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In
addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such
