responsible for leading business strategy to all aspects of
Medica's compliance program and compliance functions as an expert
in the field including maintaining an effective Compliance Program,
implementation of new laws, oversight of enterprise-wide standards
and regulations across the organization. This position in
conjunction with Legal and key stakeholders is responsible for
leading the implementation and oversight of our regulatory
adherence strategy regarding mental health parity.Key

- Leadership and Staff DevelopmentQualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and
experience required
- 8-10+ years of health plan compliance experience required
- Previous experience leading direct reports required
- Mental health parity experience required
- Experience with both individual and commercial product lines
strongly preferredSkills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership/managerial skills and ability to
motivate/coach staff
- Advanced understanding of compliance programs and business
functions
- Demonstrated knowledge of health care laws and regulations,
including Medicare and Medicaid
- High standard of ethics, responsibility, discipline, and
professionalism
- Excellent conceptual thinking skills in order to analyze
complex and sensitive issues and implement solutions
- Must be able to appropriately challenge "conventional
wisdom."
- Must be able to develop innovative solutions that balance legal
and business needs
- Must demonstrate exceptional analytical strategic planning,
issue identification and resolution skills
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an
organization
- Ability to operate independently and handle multiple, complex
projects with a high degree of initiative required
- Demonstrated ability to organize complex information and to
effectively report information to senior managementThis position
open to in-office (2-days weekly), HUB or Remote.HUB: Requires an
employee to occasionally come onsite to a designated office for
applicable heads-up work. Frequency is determined by business need
as decided by leadership.Remote: We are currently seeking
