best work.(sm) The Vice President of the Standard Insurance Product
is accountable for the backbone of all of the commercial group
insurance products sold by UHC. - This role has been resurrected
after years of standard insurance product strategy and constructs
being managed regionally and heavily dictated by state and federal
regulations. - Regional accountability will remain; regions know
their needs best. - This centralized role will provide
cross-regional analysis and consistent practices to be woven into
regional portfolios, where it makes sense. The person in this role
will help identify opportunities for best practices and do the work
to provide data, tools and direction to help advance the growth
objectives of UHC commercial that all regions need. What is the
standard group insurance product? - This is the "little black
dress" of the UHC commercial product closet. - It involves the
combinations of standard benefits, cost shares, limits, and
networks that the accessory products and programs attach to (such
as wellness programs, incentive programs, supplemental programs and
customized benefits). - You'll enjoy the flexibility to work
remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough
challenges. - Primary Responsibilities:Create standard commercial
group product construct strategies that could be applied across
regions that consider administrative, affordability, NPS,
compliance, and competitive plan features Identify and implement
plan design and sales analyses to help determine product construct
strategiesDirect the creation of tools to support standard group
insurance product growthEnsure standard group product aspects are
competitive and innovative as well as compliantDirect market
insight gathering and monitor incorporation of learnings related to
standard commercial group insurance product designChampion the
collective needs and input of regional commercial product into
national product strategiesYou'll be rewarded and recognized for

in.Required Qualifications:Undergraduate degree or equivalent
experience10+ years of commercial health insurance product and/or
sales experience, including medical/Rx benefit and plan design5+
years of direct experience partnering with Actuarial and/or
Underwriting in a health insurance environmentDirect Ownership of
standard insurance products or portfoliosDemonstrated advanced
excel/data analysis skillsDemonstrated advanced verbal presentation
skillsDirect or matrixed personnel management experiencePreferred
Qualifications:Experience creating reports/dashboardsExperience
creating a new function from scratchWorking in a matrix
environmentAffordable Care Act expertiseCompetencies and Best
Practice for High Performers:Comfort working under sometimes
unreasonable regulatory deadlinesAbility and comfort working with
all levels of an organization, including executives, lawyers and
sales representatives.Excellent verbal communication skills and

Washington Residents Only: The salary range for
California/Colorado/Connecticut/Nevada/New York City/Washington
residents is $181,600 to $345,500. Pay is based on several factors
including but not limited to education, work experience,
certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group
