ID: 2024-1400 Category: Surgical Services Type: Regular Part-Time Overview River's Edge Hospital in St. Peter, MN has positions available in our Surgical Services department. Due to growth and service expansion, we have a variety of FTEs available from .75 to 1.0 (60 to 80 hours per pay period). This position works Monday-Friday 9, 10, or 12 hour shifts, with rotating start times. Rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call required 6a-6p (must work at least .9 FTE during initial orientation and training) Responsibilities This position requires the RN to work effectively in Same Day Surgery (pre- and post-op), and Post Anesthesia Care Unit. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Minnesota license. Certified in AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire. Knowledge and experience in perioperative nursing preferred. General knowledge in hospital nursing and the ability to use the nursing process. Ability to interact in a positive and cooperative manner with courtesy and respect towards co-workers, patients, physicians and other customers.
