Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. Providing
occupational therapy services in a K-12 school setting offers a
unique opportunity to support student development and educational
success. This contract position is based in Eden Prairie, MN,
within a school district prioritizing innovative and
student-centered therapy. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
occupational therapy services to a caseload of 15 to 20 students,
adjusted based on your FTE between 0.2 and 0.4. Support students
primarily with fine motor skills development, including
handwriting, utilizing the "Handwriting Without Tears" curriculum.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary OT team comprising one
full-time licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) and two full-time
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) who provide most
of the direct therapy interventions. Implement Interception
intervention techniques routinely as part of the therapy program.
Schedule your workdays flexibly to meet the agreed full-time
equivalent hours. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Licensed
Occupational Therapist with experience working in school settings.
Familiarity with fine motor skill development and evidence-based
handwriting curricula. Experience or willingness to learn and apply
Interception intervention methods. Ability to work collaboratively
within a team of therapists and support staff. Effective
communication skills to engage with students, families, and
educators. Location: Eden Prairie, Minnesota convenient access to
