Job Description Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Mankato, Minnesota. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: -Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments. -Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology. -Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel, and patients. -Fosters teamwork through effective communication. -Ensures high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines. -Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths. -Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care. Schedule: 40 hrs/wk, mainly 8 hr shifts with 10 hour shifts associated with weekends. Weekend schedule details discussed during interview./n/nStart times vary between 6:30AM - 12:30PM and end times will be 3 - 9PM./nOvernight/evening shifts (although rare) may also be required as needed Required Skills & Experience: -Organized, efficient, and multifunctional. -Ability to work independently. -Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication. -Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths, and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends. Preferred Skills & Experience: -Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist experience preferred. Required Education: -Graduate of an accredited radiography program. Preferred Education: -N/A Required Certifications & Licensure: -ARRT certified in Radiography. -Appropriate state licensure from the state in which the candidate practices (if the state requires licensure). -BLS Preferred Certifications & Licensure: -ARRT (CT) preferred.
