Requirements: Job Duties and Responsibilities: Adhere to MN State Statutes, code of ethics, insurance requirements, and Northstar’s policy and procedures. Maintain Continuing Education requirements to keep license in good standing. Maintain a minimum of 25 billable hours per week. Conduct Diagnostic Assessments. Create treatment plans and monitor client progress. Complete documentation with a focus on quality, compliance, and in a timely manner. Coordinate client care with necessary support and services in the best interest of the client, if applicable. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Experience: Master’s Degree or higher education in mental health discipline. Must be a Licensed Mental Health Profession in the State of Minnesota (LP, LPCC, LICSW, or LMFT)—fully licensed or pre-licensed. Demonstrate competent use of the DSM-V and evidence-based approaches. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and time management skills. Proficient organization skills and attention to detail. Ability to function well in a high-paced and changing environment. Adept to learning and navigating Electronic Health Record system. Strong computer skills. CPR Certification or attain within 30 days of hire (in-house training available). Must have 2 years of freedom from chemical use problems. Must pass a drug screen and a State of MN Background Check. Additional Skills and Experience: Familiar with Procentive (EHR). Training or certification in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, etc. Strong motivational interviewing skills. Work independently, think critically, and cultivate a solution-focused mindset.
