Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 9 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week assignment at an acute care Magnet, teaching, Level II Trauma hospital. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Acute care hospital setting with 479 staffed beds — Magnet designated, teaching facility, and Level II Trauma Center - X-Ray department requiring orthopedic and emergency trauma center experience - Alternating weekly schedule: 5x8-hour shifts one week and 4x9-hour shifts the next, totaling 76 hours per pay period - Shift start times of 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:00 AM - Weekend rotation every other weekend or every third weekend based on unit need - Charting via Epic - First-time travelers are welcome to apply - Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible - All RTO requests must be finalized prior to consideration — no RTO during the first week of the assignment, and no more than 10 days of RTO for the duration of the contract - 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration - Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration - Free parking available in the North Lot in any unrestricted space /n /n Requirements/n - Minimum of 1 year of Radiology / X-Ray Tech experience - Orthopedic and emergency trauma center experience required - Current ARRT certification and BLS required - License required if applicable - Epic EMR experience preferred /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-676437.
