The Lodge at the Lakes of Stillwater Assisted Living community
is looking for a Director of Nursing to lead their clinical team.
The Director of Nursing plays an integral role in the success of
our team, our community and creating a place our residents are

unparalleled service to our residents. The primary purpose of this
position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall
functions of the Nursing Services Department in accordance with
current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and
regulations that govern our facility, and as may be directed by the
Executive Director to ensure that the highest degree of quality
care is maintained at all times. The Lodge offers independent
living, assisted living and memory care with a total of 139
residences. This vibrant senior living community is located on The
Lakes at Stillwater campus and has been a part of the Stillwater

Full-time, Day Shift Wage: $115,000-$125,000 per year (based on

length of service, and/or location. Essential Job Functions,
Duties, and Responsibilities: Director of Nursing plans, organizes,
implements, evaluates, and directs the nursing services department,
as well as its programs and activities, in accordance with current
rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the assisted living
and/or long-term care facility. Develop, maintain, update,
communicate, and enforce facility and state specific written
policies and procedures that govern the daily functions of the
nursing service department including the safety program. Maintain a
current reference of written nursing material that will assist the
nursing service department in meeting the day-to-day needs of the
resident. Director of Nursing conducts the daily nursing functions
in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that
govern the long term care facility. Ensure that all nursing
personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and
procedures including the safety program. Admit, transfer, and
discharge residents with documentation regarding care and service
provided. Required Skills and Qualifications: Capable of performing
the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable
accommodations. Ability to understand and communicate written and
verbal directions. Regular attendance, reliability and punctuality
is necessary. Ability to work nights and weekends, upon request.
Must be able to work overtime as needed. May be responsible to work
on an on-call basis. Outstanding customer service skills. Well
organized with excellent attention to detail. Aptitude to work
independently with excellent time management skills. Education and
Experience: Three or more years of experience as a Director of
nursing in a home care, or assisted living setting. Must be possess
a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in
this state. Experience in supervision and principles, practice of

applicable state and federal requirements for this position. Must
possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an
RN in state. Three or more years of experience in nursing in a home
care, assisted living, or long-term care facility. Supervisory
Responsibility This position does have direct reports and
supervisory requirements.
