Summary: This position is responsible for managing the human resource activities, including onboarding, culture, and safety for Renters Warehouse. Provide advice, guidance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation to organizational leadership. Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural issues and inquiries. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. HRIS Management: create new hire profiles, make changes to employees, promotions, org changes, manager changes, password resets, user group modifications in the HRIS system. Guide the onboarding process and present new hire orientation sessions. Conduct new employee check-in meetings and exit interviews. Complete reporting and projects related to exit interviews, turnover, retention, hiring and external analytics. Oversee the activities of the Fun Club and other employee activities. Assist with benefits updates for open enrollment, benefit communications and working with vendors to resolve complex benefits questions in a timely manner. Handle employee relations questions, employee and manager concerns. Work with the VP-HR on misc. projects including LOA, Salary surveys, Talent Management, Performance Management, employee surveys and other project work as assigned. Strong knowledge of computers and technology including cloud-based software and applications. Proficiency in HRIS applications, Paycom preferred, but not required. Proficient in online business solutions like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs. Ability to self-manage and problem solve with little direction. Ability to communicate well and provide exceptional customer service. Exert a professional and positive demeanor. Passionate about helping others. Organized and manage multiple priorities. Strong coaching and training skills. Thorough documentation and follow up skills necessary. Successfully use negotiation skills, easily diffuse difficult situations and use a high sense of urgency. Demonstrate Honesty, Trustworthiness & Accountability. Education and/or Experience High School Diploma, GED, or 5+ years of experience in a Human Resources role, or a related field. Bachelor's Degree in Business or HR, 3+ year of experience in and HR role or equivalent combination of education and experience. SHRM or HRCI Certification preferred but not required.
