Counsel/Intellectual Property, this position is responsible for
assisting the IP Legal team with matters related to patent
prosecution and patent portfolio management. -This individual will
join a small in-house team of IP attorneys, paralegals and patent
agents, they should have a flexible and collaborative style and be
willing to work closely with their immediate team members. -To be
successful, this individual must have strong technical skills, be
detail oriented and efficiently manage their time and work to
proactively meet the demands of a fast-paced and growing IP
portfolio. -Team members will be expected to work with employees
and business leaders across the enterprise; therefore, strong
customer service skills that shine through both oral and written
communication is critical. -This individual must be approachable,
easy to work with and comfortable communicating via phone and video

take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage patent prosecution deadlines
- Maintain internal systems for tracking patent disclosures and
application filings
- Assist with initial review of invention disclosures
- Interface with invention teams to move concepts through patent
filing process.
- Coordinate with inventors to obtain information and
documentation for patent filings
- Prepare reporting on patent portfolio
- Assist in the maintenance of internal IP procedures (this may
include data tracking budgets and billing, incentive programs,
annual reporting, etc.)
- Prepare correspondence and materials for use with business
leaders
- Develop and maintain IP Legal educational content
- Perform internet research projects and other special projects
on an as needed basisYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your

in.Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of patent experience (paralegal or patent agent) in a
law firm or technology company -
- Experience managing patent prosecution deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage, handle and prioritize multiple projects
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and deadline focused -
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in software-related science discipline
- Registered to practice as a Patent Agent with the USPTO -
- Experience with Salesforce based platforms
- Understanding of software related technologies and related
patent eligibility standards
- Solid -data analysis skills and attention to detail
- Proven success in collaborating across a matrixed business and
legal environment
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with
superiors, peers, subordinates, clients and outside counsel -
- Ability to work within a small team - sharing work and
assignments as needed to ensure priority projects are handled
