Job Description:
Performance Foodservice, a leading distributor in the food
service industry, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Administrator to
manage daily operations in our warehousing unit. This role is
pivotal in ensuring efficient management of inventory, data entry,
and supporting overall warehouse logistics to meet our commitment
of delivering over 150,000 food-related products nationwide. The
ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills,
proficiency in warehouse management systems, and a proven ability
to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy in all
administrative tasks. Coordinate and organize warehouse inventory
to ensure accurate storage and record-keeping. Process
documentation related to shipping and receiving goods. Perform data
entry tasks to update warehouse management system and maintain
up-to-date inventory records. Support the logistics team in
scheduling and tracking deliveries. Implement and adhere to safety
and compliance protocols within the warehouse environment. Assist
in the preparation of routine reports and coordinate regular
inventory audits. Collaborate with other team members to improve
efficiency and overall service delivery. Proficiency in Microsoft
Office and warehouse management software. Strong organizational and
multitasking skills. Effective communication and interpersonal
skills. Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including pallet
jacks and forklifts, safely. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for
accuracy in data management. Medical Insurance 401k Forklift
Operation Certification Certification in Warehouse Management
Systems (WMS) is a plus
