About the role:

This project manager role is a critical position within Urology and Pelvic Health that will lead execution of commercial transformation initiatives that elevate customer experience and enhance productivity. You will take joint responsibility for the agile execution and benefit realization of these initiatives across multiple functional teams including sales, sales operations, commercial enablement, digital marketing and in partnership with the UroPH Commercial Excellence Director.

This role will provide vision and leadership as a project manager for approved project(s) from the Commercial Excellence team. These projects vary in size and scope but may include supporting business process improvements and driving strategic and commercial transformational changes that are needed at BSC. These projects often have a relatively high level of complexity and visibility throughout the organization. The project manager will be responsible for leading diverse, cross-functional team(s) of company professionals including sales leaders to evaluate, design, build, and implement solutions to support the project goals. The project manager will engage with various stakeholders and work collaboratively across functions including sales multi-franchise leaders, marketing, health economics & reimbursement, digital enablement team and others; regions, and business units to develop the individual project strategies and secure necessary resources to deliver project results.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Support business owners in scoping and delivering on a multi-year portfolio of commercial transformation initiatives
  • Co-develop case for change, benefit case, required capabilities and program approach to ensure successful execution of individual projects
  • Initiate, plan, execute, and monitor all activities required for timely completion of the project
  • Effectively manage project team(s) ensuring good cross-functional communication as well as provide feedback to functional managers on team and team member performance
  • Ensure current BSC Quality System policies/practices and accurate documentation requirements are followed
  • Generate high-level plans, communications, and schedules to assist with task prioritization and workload adjustments
  • Identify resources (people and $$) required for project activities as well as develop and maintain project budgets
  • Assess project risks and implement risk response activities to effectively manage uncertainties
  • Delegate and manage tasks among team members as appropriate to drive execution of project deliverables and minimize risk.
  • Effectively present and communicate with internal and external personnel in various locations and through all levels of management
  • Responsible for leading phase and business reviews and for documenting project meeting minutes, issues log, decision logs, metrics, and other key communications
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple commercial cross-functional workstreams is critical

What we're looking for:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of project management work experience OR Master's Degree and 5+ years of project management work experience/
  • Exposure and/or experience working with commercial/marketing teams in med tech, pharma or other healthcare industries
  • Demonstrated leadership of cross functional teams and project management experience managing the full project lifecycle
  • Fluency using project management tools (e.g. MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Risk Register, Resource & Budget Planning, Visual Management, etc.)
  • Strong organization and execution skills including demonstrated ability to confidently own responsibility for project completion
  • Demonstrated success leading and working in a virtual environment
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and influencing skills, including presentations to internal executive teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with commercial or sales teams in medical device industry
  • PMP certification desired
  • Ability to travel up to 15% including some international travel (post COVID)
