The Work You'll Do:

The Sovos Intelligent Compliance Cloud is the only complete solution for modern tax, already trusted by half of the Fortune 500 and the world's best companies. As a Global Account Executive at Sovos you will have the opportunity to work with a global team, with help from around the world, to sell against a critical problem that customers NEED (this isn't a nice to have)! Consider a sales environment in which prospects return your calls and your solution is certain to be funded in the budget. That is what you'll be selling here at Sovos. Our customers need what you sell in order to keep their business operational in the US, throughout Europe and around the world. Come sell for THE market leader in cloud tax software.

More specifically, you will:

  • Successfully develop new business in emerging global market, as well as effectively promote and sell Sovos products to existing clients
  • Effectively sell and promote Sovos' SaaS-based products and services
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to increase sales opportunities
  • Deliver profitable new business revenue growth in assigned territory while meeting and exceeding revenue targets and relevant quotas
  • Grow and manage a balanced pipeline across assigned territory achieving new business revenue growth
  • Effectively build a year-over-year record of consistent performance and accountability using multiple sales approaches and managing complex sales into large enterprises

What We Need From You:

  • At least five years of proven success selling SaaS-based or software solutions
  • Demonstrated success selling large enterprise ($250k+) opportunities with ability to navigate and manage complex sales cycles and relate and sell to c-level executives
  • Proven targeting, prospecting, and closing skills while achieving or exceeding revenue quotas
  • Comfort level working within large CRM databases, preferably Salesforce.com
  • Ability to travel 50% for client and prospect meetings, trade shows, sales team events
  • Due to federal contracts - successful candidates will be asked to clear a background check and drug test prior to hire
