Job Summary

As a DevOps Enablement Engineer, you will be working in a centralized team that supports multiple product development teams to enable and improve all things development related. This role offers the opportunity to work across a compass of technologies and mix hands-on development and people-focused enablement, providing both technical leadership as well as strategic direction. You will transform code development and testing capabilities into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function by using quality processes, tools, and methodologies, significantly improving control, accuracy, and integrity. You will create more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions. We are seeking an an expert in automating product and infrastructure, you will leverage modern scripting frameworks to eliminate human touchpoints in the testing process.

Responsibilities


-Design and build development and testing services that engineering teams can use within their products to help them produce faster, safer, and more reliable.
-An expert in automating product and infrastructure, you will leverage modern scripting frameworks to eliminate human touchpoints and toil in the testing process.
-Identify areas across groups where they could improve, then design and execute work to upskill the teams.
-Helping guide the organization towards a DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering by integration with CI/CD pipeline and producing meaningful and actionable metrics
-Accelerate and evangelize the adoption of automated testing as standards
-Provide hands-on expertise in testing, automation, and development to supplement the skills in the engineering teams
-Be a champion for continually improving our culture to deliver great experiences for our engineers and exceptional products to our customers
-Will need to be a shepherd of continuous integration/deployment and DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering

Requirements

-5 - 7 years of experience
-You have worked as part of an agile development team delivering complex products to multiple customers
-You have experience designing and building and can communicate how security, scalability, reliability, manageability, and cost have been factored into the design.
-You have experience in using multiple programming languages to improve the developer experience
-You are comfortable in supporting engineers to adopt new methods and tools and identifying the right way to help them scale in unfamiliar areas
-You can find ways to make the day-to-day experiences of engineers better while their focus might be on shorter-term objectives
-Experience with Mobile, Web, and API testing
-You are keen to extend your skillset across the breadth of DevOps practices, principles, and technology sets by staying up to date on the ever-changing technology landscape
