skilled and motivated individual to help drive sales for an
innovative new health insurance product. -You will pursue a deep
understanding of selling health insurance to the mid-market,
identify/prioritize solutions, and effectively communicate the
needs, the vision, and the solutions of Bind both internally and
externally. The ideal candidate will reside in the Virginia area.
-You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within
the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. -Primary
Responsibilities:
- Sell into mid-market self-insured employers (50 - 3,000
employees) using a consultative sales approach
- Clearly articulate complex information in a simple concise way
to a wide range of audiences, from C-suite to benefits managers,
brokers and consultants
- Drive the sales process from opening the door to close of the
sale and hand off to the customer success team, all within a new
insurance category (On-Demand Health Insurance)
- Clearly explain Bind's financial model and financial/stop-loss
quotes to employers and their broker/consultant (as needed)
- Sell Bind to targeted East Coast region
- Support data-driven sales approach at Bind by clearly
communicating and documenting meetings, account updates, and
pipeline status in Bind's CRM
- Present at regional and national conferences and other events
to grow Bind's market presence including creating, sourcing,
applying, and/or obtaining invites for those eventsYou'll be
rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that
will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to
succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles
you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:
- 4-year college degree in a healthcare related discipline -
- 5+ years of experience working in B2B sales, business
development, or another client-facing role
- Knowledge and experience in a healthcare environment with HIPAA
requirements
- Deep understanding of health care industry constituents and
their needs
- Ability to identify key priorities and opportunities for action
in an innovating environment that includes ambiguity and
changePreferred Qualifications:
- MBA -
- Health Insurance license to sell stop-loss in at least your
state of employment (or willing to become licensed)
- Working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment -
- Ambitious and willing to rapidly learn
- Self-starter mentality -
- Solid, effective communicator with a penchant for driving and
closing new business -
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written
and verbal

or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents
is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada
residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors
including but not limited to education, work experience,
certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group
