service orientation and knowledge of insurance claims to serve as
an advocate for providers in our networks. As you do, you'll

you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Assist
in end-to-end provider issues and help enhance best in class
service Assist in efforts to enhance ease of use of provider admin
services and future enhancements Contribute to design and
implementation of programs that build/nurture positive
relationships between the health plan, providers and practice
managers Help implement training and development of external
providers through education programs Help identify gaps in network
composition and services to assist network contracting and
development teams Assesses and interprets customer needs and
requirements Help identify solutions to non-standard requests and
problems Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts
moderately complex analyses Works with minimal guidance; seeks
guidance on only the most complex tasks Translates concepts into
practice In this role, you'll be part of a performance driven, fast
paced organization that is serving multiple markets. You'll have
frequent interactions with senior management and physicians as you
communicate about ways to evolve ongoing processes and programs.

Qualifications: Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an
accredited college/university Pursuing degree in Healthcare, Public
Policy, Business or another related field Must be actively enrolled
in an accredited college/university during the duration of the
internship. Internships are not intended for graduating seniors
Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA Proficiency with MS Word, Excel,
PowerPoint and Access Proven excellent written and oral
communication skills Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without
company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based
work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and
candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)
Preferred Qualifications: Health care/managed care experience
Provider relations and/or provider network experience Basic
understanding of claims processing and issue resolution Basic
understating of Medicare and Medicaid regulations Careers with

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City, or
Washington residents is $16.00 to $19.38. Pay is based on several
factors including but not limited to education, work experience,
