Finding solutions to the world's biggest problems has never been more important than right now.**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING****Title: Assembler** **Basic Job Description:**The Assembler will work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment to assemble standard and non-standard model element filters by manipulating material to conform to a spiral configuration. He/She will use hand and machine tools along with measuring devices. Team assemblers perform all tasks in the manufacturing process, including rotating through all or most of the jobs rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis. **Essential Functions (Responsibilities):**These duties and responsibilities are not exhaustive and will be supplemented as necessary As the Assembler, you will: * Assemble filters and elements using prescribed manufacturing procedures * . Perform quality workmanship and keep scheduled deadlines to meet customer expectations * Observe all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) rules, including housekeeping practices; participate in EHS meetings, investigations, and audits * Proactively communicate and address safety concerns * Support business needs in regards to EHS, Quality, on time shipments and productivity; including eliminating barriers to achieving business goals * Aid in the training of other employees on new or existing procedures * Work and cooperate well on a team so team objectives are met * Perform in-process inspection of materials to assure conformance with specifications. Identify non-conforming material and elements / filters * Keep accurate records of Lot numbers, Model numbers, Serial numbers, and tracks labor and material usage * . Input production data into a Network Database / SAP * . Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner * . Assist in the development of new processes to improve product quality and production efficiency and aids in the development of new product models * Perform any additional duties as assigned by Supervisor, Facilitator, or Lead **WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR****Qualifications / Requirements:** High School Diploma/GED **Eligibility Requirements:** Ability and willingness to work **Monday Friday 6:00am 2:00pm- 1st shift** Ability and willingness to work overtime, as required Ability and willingness to work occasional weekend shifts, as required Ability and willingness to wear personal protective equipment, for example safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes, as required Ability and willingness to perform frequent lifting and bending motions, as required Ability and willingness to utilize manual dexterity when manipulating materials to conform to spiral configurations, as required. **Desired:*** Previous assembly experience * Ability to use hand tools * Strong communication skills and ability to learn and understands all policies, practices, and procedures * Ability to accurately measure work in process (WIP) and finished goods in inches or centimeters * Basic computer skills (Microsoft office) At SUEZ, we realize diverse teams make smarter decisions, deliver better results, and build stronger communities.
