The Payroll Analyst is responsible for managing the U.S. based Advanced Practice Clinicians travelers' program and support the US Short-Term Business Traveler program. The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for communication and customer service for tax issues and will act as a subject matter expert for these programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for executive level compensation analysis and reporting for senior level management and Compensation Department
Work with other departments to gather demographic, compensation and travel expenses monthly
Work closely with outside vendor to prepare monthly reports
Provide customers with updated monthly travel records and compensation reports
Responsible for researching and resolving complex payroll tax issues, including but not limited to, stock and executive compensation
Assist in supporting employees, answering program related questions and assisting where needed
Flexibility and multitasking to ensure deadlines are meet.
Act as a SME for payroll tax questions and issues, troubleshoot when needed
Assist with year-end review and processing of W2's and W2c's
Research errors, determine root cause and make recommendations for on-going process improvements
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees
Collaborate with HRIS, Payroll Operation, Total Rewards and HR communities in the support of payroll operations and tax changes
Maintain effective relationships with key internal and external customers and vendors
Other projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED
1+ years payroll tax experience
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks with hard deadlines simultaneously
Project documentation experience
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office with excellent Excel Skills
Solid analytical, problem solving skills, including query skills
Solid understanding of how to build efficient operational processes
Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
FPC or CPP
1+ years functional experience with PeopleSoft HRMS version 8.9, 9.0 and higher, North American Payroll
Previous multi-state tax experience
Knowledge of Gross to Net Payroll and General Accounting Principles
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees
