Job Description Direct Hire Product Support Technician Minnetonka
Location Hours: Mon-Fri 7:30 am - 3:00 pm Pay: $55,000+ The Product
Support Technician is a newly created position to support customers
with any technical questions they have about client's products. In
this position, you will answer calls, track technical questions,
and get to the root cause of any issues. This position also
requires you to troubleshoot fire control panels / modules and
other electronic devices. Furthermore, this position may require
you to assist in other continuous improvement projects on the
production floor and/or in the engineering department. This
position will report to the Director of Engineering. Other
Responsibilities: * Resolves customer problems, disputes, and
complaints in an efficient, professional manner * Work with
customer service and quality engineer to ensure parts and paperwork
are returned to the factory as required. * Contact 3rd party
vendors to resolve product defects in a timely manner. * Document,
track, and monitor issues to ensure a timely resolution and
effective communication to all parties involved. * Support ongoing
quality and environmental management systems (ISO 9001 and ISO
14001). Education * Associates / technical degree in electronics or
fire panels is desired. Experience / Qualifications * 1-2 years'
experience in supporting customers with technical issues. *
