HR Accountant

Job Description:

Currently looking for an HR accountant for a Minneapolis company.

Located downtown Minneapolis

$29 hourly

Contract until July 2015

Responsible for general accounting including analyzing and processing information, creating journal entries, preparing balance sheet account reconciliations, performing account analysis, preparing reports and similar general accounting activities. Ability to review and analyze financial results for accuracy, consistency, reasonableness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Experience with Oracle 11i important.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor?s degree in accounting or related financial discipline required.

An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred. 5-7 years financial and/or accounting experience required.

Skills and Competencies: Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking. Ability to work independently and manage one?s time. Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed. Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting. Experience with computer applications including Oracle 11i and Microsoft Excel, Word and Power point.
