As a Sales Director at Sovos you will have the opportunity to work with a global team, with support from around the world, to sell against a mission critical problem that customers NEED (this isn---t a nice to have) Consider managing a team in a sales environment in which prospects return their calls and your solution is certain to be funded in the budget. Come join the sales organization for THE market leader in cloud tax software.More specifically, you will:Develop and sustain a business plan to meet and exceed sales quotasOwn the relationship between sales and marketing for your business lineLeading, developing, and managing a team of Account Executives to success while promoting developmentBuild and maintain relationships with both internal and external business partnersRepresent Sovos at tradeshows and industry conferencesWhat We Need from You:Sales Directors at Sovos are some of the greatest sales professionals --- and then some. Sure, we want folks with a proven track record of sales success, but more importantly, we want people who will be the next great leaders here at Sovos. So yes, there is a list of experiences that we would love you to have:5 years corporate selling experience; 5 years of proven SaaS-based or software solutionsDemonstrated success selling large enterprise ($250k) opportunities with ability to navigate and manage complex sales cycles and relate and sell to C-Level ExecutivesExperience hiring and leading diverse teamsExperience working within large CRM databases, preferably Salesforce.comAbility to travel 50% for client and prospect meetings, trade shows, sales team events (While 50% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)Due to clients with federal contracts --- a successful candidate will have to clear a background check and drug testAnd those are very important.
