Position: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Pay Rate: $18-20 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Weekends as needed.

Job Summary
The Leasing Consultant provides leadership, work direction and
support to onsite part-time Leasing Consultants. In partnership
with the Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager, this
position sets strategic direction for the leasing team to achieve
company goals. The Leasing Consultant is involved in areas such as
collections, resident relations, maintenance, and compliance with
company safety program and all laws and company policies.
Essential Job Duties
Leasing
Understand and strive for all community leasing goals with
professionalism
Ability to lease apartments that best suit the prospect's desired
needs
Daily monitoring of curb appeal, vacant units, and tour path each
morning to ensure that everything is orderly and prepared to exceed
all expectations for prospects on tours, as well as the overall
apartment community
Follow-up with prospects through email and phone responses to
schedule tours and ensure a positive customer experience
Meet with new prospects and provide expert information on apartment
homes in a kind and helpful manner to meet occupancy needs
Process applications and gather the proper rental verification that
supports the application approval process and prepare all move-in
documents
Conduct move-in walk-throughs and ensure all move-in requirements
are met
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining courtesy,
respect, and sensitivity for resident service
Must be knowledgeable and adhere to Fair Housing Guidelines
Marketing
Perform regular market research activity to understand what the
competition is doing
Collect rental information data as requested by Management
Resident Retention
Assist in planning resident functions. Attend & participate as
needed
Receive all phone calls and in-person visits. Manager, Listen to
resident requests, concerns, and comments
Quickly delegate maintenance work orders and follow-up as
needed
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 1-2 years in Property Management or equivalent
experience
Demonstrated leasing experience, one year minimum
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and
Outlook
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to use tact, diplomacy and a courteous manner when dealing
with co-workers and the public
Excellent decision-making, problem solving, and time management
skills
Ability to manage, coach and lead teams
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Comprehension of Federal Fair Housing laws and any applicable local
housing provisions
