As a Senior Broker Agent Service Representative , you'll focus on providing phone support to Sales Representatives by answering general sales support questions and assisting with system navigation.

This position is full - time (40 hours / week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8 hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (7:00am to 8:00pm CST). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime that could include a Saturday.

Employees will be required to work some days onsite and some days from home

Primary Responsibilities:

Handling in - bound phone calls professionally, while providing excellent customer service

Research and resolve sales agent's questions relating to:

How to use self - service tools

Member concerns

Medicaid and Medicare verification

Application status and eligibility

On - boarding and certification process

Commission injuries

Document call resolution of each contact in various systems in a clear and concise manner

Demonstrate the ability to provide a quality experience for all of our customers

Meet minimal performance goals on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Handling in - bound calls professionally, while providing excellent customer service

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma / GED (or higher)

1+ years of customer service experience

1+ years of computer skills including but not limited to: knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook (ability to create, edit, save and send documents, spreadsheets, presentation, correspondence)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a call center

Healthcare and / or insurance industry experience

Medicare knowledge

Experience supporting a sales team or working with sales representatives

Soft Skills:

Ability to learn new computer applications quickly and toggle between multiple systems

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (verbally and written)

Ability to multi - task

Experience navigating a computer while speaking on the phone

Telecommuting Requirements:

Reside within a commutable distance to Minnetonka, MN; Phoenix, AZ; Colorado Springs, CO or Roanoke, VA

Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy

Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)

Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
